Now the Benefits of Killing missile defense, SDI aka "Star Wars"

While some conservatives see the missile defense shield in Europe as the end all and be all of protection. The defense shield would not protect you from another 9-11 or a small plane with a nuclear, dirty nuclear, and chemical weapons. I grew up in the city of Orange in Orange County in the shadow of Anaheim Hills and Orange Park Acres which was pretty much built large in part by engineers from the defense industry. Ultimately the thousands of men and women we have lost in Iraq and tens of thousand that have been injured and a broken Army and Marine Corps not one has been saved by a missile defense system. But better body armor, IED resistant vehicles and proper training could have helped. Most of all, IT DOESN'T WORK, IT NEVER WORKED SDI was a nice thought but SDI served it's purpose it scared the hell out of the Soviet Union and brought them back to the negotiating table and ultimately bankrupted them trying to compete with us we should let the Military Industrial Complex to bankrupt us on systems we don't need that don't work they are already getting 50% of the discretionary budget and that doesn't count Iraq and Afghanistan.

With the Russians now in tow we can now put real pressure on the Iran not only to back off the nuclear ambitions which we can take care of with a few sorties but cut off support to Hezbolla and Hamas forcing them back to the table with Israel.
